United Bronx Parents, Inc.'s mission is "To provide the basic human services necessary for families and individuals to obtain self-proficiency through dignity in their struggle to participate as the functioning and valuable citizens they are."

The program La Casita Esperanz provides both emergency and transitional housing to single adult men and women. Services include case management, recovery readiness counseling, placement in harm reduction and substance abuse treatment programs, HIV education, health care education and coordination, recreational activities, basic necessities, and placement in permanent housing.
Residents are homeless persons with HIV/AIDS and who are active alcohol or other drug users.
