Green Chimneys is a mutli-service agency non-profit organization with a mission of restoring possibilities and creating futures for children with emotional, behavioral and learning challenges through educational, therapeutic and outreach services. The Triangle Tribe Apartment Program consists of two elements: our Transitional Living Program (TLP) and Transitional Independent Living (TIL) program. Both provide a “safe haven” for where they learn the essential life skills for their transition into community living. The programs offer young people opportunities to live and test out independence, to be responsible for themselves and to acquire essential tools for adult independent living. Staff supervises, mentors and monitors each resident's progress in six, scattered-site apartments.
