The Child Center of New York is a family-focused non-profit organization that counsels children, adolescents and parents with problems such as adjusting to life in a new country, depression, behavior problems and substance abuse; intervenes to protect children from abuse and neglect; safeguard families with children at imminent risk of psychiatric hospitalization and develops children and youth through tutoring, after-school programs and day care.
