The Point Community Development Corporation an organization dedicated to youth development and the cultural and economic revitalization of the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx.
They work with their neighbors to celebrate the life and art of our community, an area traditionally defined solely in terms of its poverty, crime rate, poor schools, and substandard housing. "
ICP at The Point is a free photography program.
Equipped with 35mm cameras, students begin by taking pictures of the everyday happenings of The Point and the community that surrounds it. Students work one on one with TA’s and instructors and learn all of the basics of camera use, develop their own film and print their favorite shots. Ages Served: 9-21
