Mental Health Association of New York City is an advocacy and services organizations serving the New York metropolitan area. MHA of NYC fights to shape the policies that benefit those who suffer with mental illness, promotes early detection of mental illness, facilitates access to treatment, and pioneers direct service programs to help individuals and their families lead rich and rewarding lives.
Adolescent Skills Center, West prepares adolescents with histories of emotional and behavioral problems to achieve independence in adulthood.
The programs offers : vocational skills assessment, GED and literacy classes, computer instruction, exposure to a variety of diverse job experiences in real work settings, internship placements in competitive businesses, job coaching, peer support and case management services.
