Providence House provides housing and services to homeless, abused, or formerly incarcerated women and their children, referred from the NYS Division of Parole, NYC Department of Homeless Services, and local Social Service agencies.
Providence House VII is run by Providence House's Apartment Program and provides each family with their own separate apartment, case management, housing services and around-the-clock security. Staff link residents to support services in the community, assist with basic life skills and help them obtain permanent housing. A child care center provides child care for these mothers.
If you have a child you must obtain a referral from:
Prevention Assistance and Temporary Housing (Path) Office in the Bronx.
