Adolescent Skill Centers are designed for young people ages 16-23 who are struggling with school and emotional difficulties. The Skills Centers can help you meet challenges related to education (including GED preparation), employment, and social isolation.

Transitional employment jobs are mainly available through Clubhouse programs. Transitional employment (TE) provides people with part-time jobs, usually 15-20 hours a week, lasting 6-9 months. These jobs are located in regular places of business and pay at least minimum wage. Transitional Employment placements give you work experience, the opportunity to explore a variety of different jobs, and learn work-related skills. Agency staff and peers provide training both on and off the job-site. For many people, transitional employment is a step toward getting a permanent and competitive job.

If you are taking drugs or drinking regularly, you could be hurting yourself or others, both physically and mentally. Substance Abuse or Dependence can interfere with your ability to do well at work or in school, as well as with family and other relationships.
